Greens,

The official results for the County Commission in Mecklenburg are
in and our two candidates didn't get through to the November election
unfortunately. (The local paper - Charlotte Observer - endorsed the
three winners.) But Ken & Nick racked up lots of votes, so given that
Obama/Clinton and local Mayor (Pat McCrory) dominated the news, I'm,
feeling proud of what they accomplished: both are set for a future
when we run as Greens.

Harold Cogdell, Jr. votes: 56594 = 23%
Ken Davies (Green Party) votes: 36667 = 15%
Dan Murrey votes: 44220 = 18%
Jennifer Roberts votes: 78575 = 32%
Nicholas Triplett (Green Party) votes: 31613 = 13%
