The Green Party is on the ballot today in the Nebraska Primary.

Green Party Registration has been growing at a healthy pace in Nebraska over the last couple of years. In November of 2006 Green Party Registration in Nebraska was 444, today it is 795.

In particular we will have several candidates on the ballot in Douglas County.

We have a contested primary for Douglas County Commissioner District 3. Both Tom Foster and Derek Glaser are competing to be the Green Party representative on the fall ballot.

Scott Hoffman is running for Douglas County Commissioner District 1 and Susan Koneck is running for Douglas County Commissioner District 5.

You can view a sample ballot at:

Statewide we have the following candidates on the ballot:

Jesse Johnson, Cynthia McKinney, Kent Mesplay and Kat Swift are on the ballot for President.

Steve Larrick is running for U.S. Senate, http://www.votelarrick.org/
